Winter Sale 2021 on Steam has offer lot of different deals to all the players. Whether you're buying it for yourself or for someone else, Valve's latest season deals give you the chance to grab this year's hottest games before the new year at the lowest prices. But, as always, ranking the game pool is a daunting task. That's why we're featuring the best deals at Steam Winter Sale 2021.

Winter sales on Steam are usually the biggest sales of the year. It is also located at the end of the year, providing a rare opportunity to focus on the latest releases. After all, the best way to start a new year is better than celebrating the best of the previous year.

Of course, Steam sales aren't limited to new titles. That's why our pick of the best Steam Winter Sale 2021 deals highlights the combination of this year's hottest releases and massive discounts on games you don't want to miss.

As always, we've included our favorites on our list. Forza Horizon 5, Biomutant, Resident Evil Village and Deathloop are among the top rated games of 2021. It won the Game of the Year 2021 award.

5. Psychonauts 2
£35.74 (35% off £54.99)
Pyschonauts 2 is a 3D platformer with good cameras and standard combat, and also features many unique collectibles and abilities. This game is the closest to shrooming and is an adventure you'll never forget because of its mature theme, fun levels and wacky characters.

4. Dark Souls III

£9.99 (75% off £39.99)

There are tons of games that could have been included on this list, but I chose Dark Souls III because Elden Ring is coming out in February. A lot of people won't be sure that FromSoftware's harsh gaming is too much for them, so it's better to buy the examples at a huge discount than risk all the new games.

If you've never played Soulsborne before, I'd highly recommend Dark Souls III as it's the best of the three, both from the Steam Winter Sale 2021 offer and from a gaming standpoint. Even if this is controversial because the Elden Ring is different in many ways, it could help you finally figure out whether FromSoftware games are really your ally.

3. Deathloop

£24.99 (50% off £49.99)

Deathloop was nominated for Game of the Year at the 2021 Game Awards, and it's easy to see why. It's not a perfect 10/10 masterpiece because the AI is dumb and the game is so hands-on, but it has a gorgeous main duo of Colt and Julianna and the sci-fi setting is an unforgettable arena. A mystery to discover.

2. Black Desert - £2.69 (70% off £8.99)

Black Desert Online is a game I recommend to anyone who has never played an MMORPG or is not a fan of the genre. The game is incredibly popular, but as someone who doesn't enjoy MMOs, it's very accessible and easy to play.

There are aspects of MMOs that are very annoying for those who aren't fans of the genre, but these shortcomings far outweigh all the good things. The open world is beautiful, the game is fun with many classes to choose from, and the community is very friendly.

Of course, there are also character creation suites that can be games in their own right. It has endless potential and can make any kind of waifu you want, from the quintessential cheese anime girl to the gigantic She-Hulk that blushes the perfect Kiki Vhyce.

It's only £2.69, so even if you don't enjoy it, you won't waste a lot of money. You can also continue to enjoy the character creator.

1. Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy - £32.19 (35% off £49.99)

We've included Guardians of the Galaxy in our previous sales, but we're bringing it back to number one because it's kinda of dazzling masterpiece. No, it's not an open-world game with gadgets and duplicated battles between Batman and Spider-Man, but more of a linear adventure with an adorable ill-fitting crew who must overcome the allure of a stinky religious group.

It's not Avengers 2.0, but it's comparable to Insomniac's Spider-Man and Rocksteady's Best Batman. Combat is fun and almost like Mass Effect.
Some people might think the price is too high for a single player game, but this depends entirely on what you want in a video game. You can spend £30 on a 15-hour story you enjoy from start to finish, or buy an 80-hour boring like Assassin's Creed Valhalla that feels like work full of stuff.
